Blog #16 - Coriolanus Characterization in Act One

The leader of the wolf pact or known as the alpha male is a really good word that describes the characterization of 'Martius' who is later named 'Coriolanus' as a symbol of his dedication and seniority/power in the community he is in when in battle and his weight in "political" dictions. both the plebeians and the tribunes of the Senates trussed him out being his main opposition. The ego and pride of Martius in scene one are completely juxtaposed to that personality of meninius who tends to be more down to earth and humble because he doesn’t not have any real problems to converse with the lower classes of the people of Rome. Martius tends to be Impatient and the drive to conquer enables him and leads to him failing to see that making the lower classes happy would actually result in him having a great following.
